Volunteer Marin is a program of the Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership (the Center). Founded in 1965 as the Volunteer Bureau, the Center has been building the capacity of volunteers and nonprofits for over 40 years.
The mission of the Center is to develop a vital and engaged community dedicated to building and sustaining quality of life by:
- enriching and strengthening volunteerism and nonprofit organizations
- enhancing community leadership and involvement
- promoting the impact and value of the nonprofit sector
