Marin AIDS Project

Went to a great project on Sunday helping the Marin AIDS Project (MAP). Someone had lost their battle with AIDS and left their home to MAP. MAP plans on putting the house on the market in the next few weeks. We wanted to help make that donation shine for all it was worth.

It was a beautiful Sunday and a great group of volunteers had decided to come out and fix up this house like it was their own. We trimmed the roses, cut back the trees and pulled weeds. There was an epic lemon tree in the backyard, must have been 40 years old. It overflowed with lemons. We picked them and filled 3 boxes for MAP Clients.

Hopefully someone will buy the house soon (What nonprofit doesn't need the money these days?). But everyone was glad to be out there, helping out in their own small way. At the very least, this person's big, generous donation to MAP now looks like it was cared for and appreciated.
